Communications & Marketing Intern - France

We're currently looking for a passionate, focused and organised, native French speaking intern to work with Global Citizen’s Communications and Marketing teams.  

  • 3 days per week (21 hours)
  • 1,000 Euros per month
  • Must be eligible to work in France and a native French speaker, C1 in English
  • Based in Paris
  • Start date: January 2019
  • End date: September 2019

Communications and Marketing Intern - Role description

Global Citizen is looking for a Communications and Marketing Intern to support the launch of Global Citizen in France and help drive audience growth in this new and key market for the organisation.

This role will be required to support the execution of marketing plans for Global Citizen events in France as well as other marketing and brand activity to help us reach and engage young audiences.

The role will be required to support with email and social media communications and marketing, including the promotion of our Rewards Programme and our campaigns to end extreme poverty by 2030. Some copy writing in French and translating from english to french will be required.

The role will be responsible for monitoring and reporting data related to the activities being undertaken.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, and/or a related field preferred. Current undergraduates also accepted
  • French native speaker with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in english (C1)
  • Demonstrated commitment to Global Citizen's work
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of communicating effectively with a young audience
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to handle projects with professionalism and discretion
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Excel
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
