So far, more than 13 million actions have been taken by Global Citizens, leading to $35 billion commitments being made by world leaders, which are set to affect 1.3 billion lives by 2030.

We're currently looking for a passionate, focused and organized intern to work with Global Citizen’s Business Development Team during Fall 2018.

Responsibilities

Assist our Business Development Team with:

  • Management of VIP RSVPs and related deliverables
  • Tasks related to managing and building Global Citizen partnerships
  • Ensure Business Development assets are accurate and effective by working with the team to check messaging, clarity and accuracy of documents, marketing materials, and onsite activation materials
  • Compile partnership updates and reports for Global Citizen team, partners, sponsors and vendors
  • Other Business Development-related administrative duties, including scheduling travel, organizing files and keeping notes during meetings, as requested from time to time

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven interest in international development and economic empowerment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Must be highly proficient in Google Suite of Products, most importantly, Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact successfully with a wide range 
of individuals
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and non-disclosure of all information including contacts and correspondence
  • Ability to quickly digest and analyse complex information and recommend responses
  • Comfortable assisting with a variety of tasks, including simple administrative activities
  • Ability to responsibly operate in a fast-moving environment with limited oversight
  • Friendly, flexible, confident and assertive personality, with a sense of humor

  • Reports to Global Citizen Business Development Manager
  • Minimum 3 days per week
  • $15/hr wage
  • Must be authorized for employment in the United States
  • Based in New York City
